Kensey Enterprises, LLC dba Get Clear Lights ("Get Clear Lights," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you visit getclearlights.com, request an appointment, receive our mobile service, or communicate with us.
Information we collect
Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address, and telephone number;
- your service address and access instructions;
- appointment, vehicle, service, and payment information;
- messages, questions, and service notes;
- service photographs and the related authorization; and
- technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, and website interactions.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, medical information, or other sensitive information we do not request.
How we collect and use information
We collect information when you use our website or booking process, call, text, or email us, provide details during service, make an in-person payment, or authorize service photographs. Wix and related technologies may collect technical and analytics information automatically.
We use information to:
- respond to questions and manage appointment requests;
- confirm the service location, vehicle, price, and working conditions;
- provide the requested service and customer support;
- send service-related confirmations, updates, or reminders;
- maintain transaction, tax, security, and business records;
- operate, protect, measure, and improve the website; and
- use approved service photographs as described in the booking authorization.
We do not currently send promotional email or promotional text messages.
Service providers and disclosure
Wix provides our website hosting, booking, forms, customer-management, content, order, security, and analytics services. Apple iCloud supports our custom-domain email and monthly backup. Google Voice supports individual customer calls and text conversations. Cloudflare provides domain registration and DNS services.
These providers may process information as needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect safety or rights, prevent misuse, or address a legal claim.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising based on your activity across unrelated websites or services. We do not currently install advertising pixels.
Cookies and analytics
The website and Wix may use cookies, logs, and similar technologies for security, operation, and analytics. Wix Analytics is enabled and may measure visits, pages, referrals, approximate location, devices, browsers, interactions, and booking-related activity.
The website does not currently display a cookie-consent banner. You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect website or booking functionality. We will review and update this policy and any required privacy controls before enabling Google Ads or another advertising or tracking technology.
Photographs
The booking process may ask you to authorize photographs of the service. If authorized, we may use approved photographs in website galleries, business listings, social media, advertising, and other Get Clear Lights business communications. We do not intentionally publish your name, address, contact information, license plate, VIN, or another private identifier with those photographs.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and for legitimate service, transaction, tax, insurance, security, dispute, and legal needs. Provider-controlled records and backups may remain according to the provider's retention practices.
We use reasonable safeguards and limit administrative access, but no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you by emailing info@getclearlights.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may verify your identity before acting and may retain information when legally or reasonably required.
If we deny a request and applicable law provides an appeal, email us with the subject "Privacy Appeal" and explain why the decision should be reconsidered. When processing is based on consent, you may request withdrawal for future processing with the subject "Consent Withdrawal." Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing or information we must retain for another lawful reason.
Children
Our website and services are intended for adults who are authorized to approve work on a vehicle. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will identify the current version. We will provide any additional notice required by law for a material change.
